• What is MAXILENE?

• Has MAXILENE been tested?
  Yes. MAXILENE has been tested by a range of dermatological clinics. The product has been scientifically proved to work.
  
  
• Is MAXILENE a new product?
  MAXILENE is new in the Netherlands but has been sold in various countries including the United States, France, Switzerland, Germany and the United Kingdom since 1993.

• Who can use MAXILENE?
  MAXILENE can be used by both women and men.
  

• How does it work?
  MAXILENE does not affect the hormones themselves, only their effects. In the short term, MAXILENE improves the circulation. In the long term, it strengthens the blood vessels and regenerates the connective tissue. This improves the flow of nutrients by boosting the circulation. As a result, the hair carries on growing for longer, slowing down the incidence of hair loss.

• When you start using MAXILENE lotion, will you have to carry on using it all the time for it to work?
  No. To obtain an optimum result, all you need to do is to apply MAXILENE once a day for 3 months followed by a 3-month break from treatment. This break should be followed by a further daily treatment lasting 3 months.
  
  
• Can I wash my hair after applying MAXILENE?
  We recommend that you apply MAXILENE to the areas to be treated immediately after drying your hair following (daily) washing. There is also a MAXILENE shampoo especially for washing your hair.
  
  
• Can MAXILENE lotion and/or MAXILENE shampoo irritate the skin?
  The composition of both MAXILENE lotion and MAXILENE shampoo minimises the risk of irritation to the skin. Although skin reactions cannot of course be entirely ruled out, the chances are very small, even in users with highly sensitive skins.
  
  
• Will MAXILENE affect my hormones?
  No. MAXILENE has no hormonelike effects whatsoever in itself, nor does it in any way stimulate hormone activity.
